The Caterpillar extendable stick bearings that have been completely worn down to the base metal from extensive use.

All of the remaining old bearing surface has been removed and the surface finished.

New bearing strips are TIG (GTAW) welded onto the extendable stick. The bearings strips are polished at each weld location.
